雨の....
今日は駒沢のハートビートスタジオでレコーディングをしていました。ここ最近いろんなレコーディングに参加してるけど、なぜかほとんどこのスタジオ。慣れていることもあるけど、やりやすくていいスタジオです。今日録っていたのは某大物シンガーソングライターのトリビュート盤での一曲。メンバーはLittle Creatures/Double Famousの栗原と僕それから「モダーン今夜」のボーカリスト永山マキさん。
アレンジは全部栗原がやっていてドラム、シンセベース、ギターを録ってあった上にボーカルを録って、トランペットをダビング。トランペットの録音をする時にたまたまスタジオにあったRCAの古いビンテージのリボンマイクを使ったんですが、この音がやたら良くてびっくりしました。マイクとか機材にはよくあることだけど、古いものの方が音がいいって何の為の技術革新なんだという気がします。
僕はソロの時に生でエコーというか、ディレイをやったりしてたんですけどこのマイクでディレイをやり、うすくリバーブをかけると本当にアナログディレイがかかってるみたいでした。面白かった。
曲は80年代の日本のポップスの大ヒット曲。僕も中学生くらいの時に聴いてましたけど、分かるヒトはそれなりの.....。
