ここ数日UNITの3周年イベントやらなにやらで、やたらとライブを見続けた。まずはASA CHANG&巡礼に始まり、MERZBOWを少々見た後小山田先輩のコーネリアス。コーネリアスは何度も見てるけど、僕が今まで見た中では今回が一番良かったような気がした。音楽的にも素晴らしいけどとにかくあの映像とのシンクロ具合がすごい。クリックを聞きながら演奏するなんてレベルじゃない。もの凄い時間かけてバンドのリハーサルすると聞いた事がありますが、よくここまで出来るなーと見るたびに感心します。。

翌日は再びUNITのイベントで、Jimanica×Ametsub、toe、Clammbon、PARAを観る。JimanicaxAmetsubは、d.v.d.としての活動でも知られるドラマーとエレクトロニカのアーティストAmetsub（アメツブ）の合体ユニット。この日が初ライブで確かにライブ慣れはしてない感じがしたけど、生のドラムをリアルタイムでいじって掛け合いをしたり、ライブエレクトロニクスのアイデアが面白かった。同じような組み合わせで、フォーテット（エレクトロニクス）とスティーブ・リード（ドラマー）のライブを去年UNITでやったけど、やろうとしてることはJimanicaxAmetsubのほうが面白い気がしました。今後に期待です。

JimanicaxAmetsubを見終わったところで、恵比寿のリキッドルームでパノラマ・スティール・オーケストラがワンマンをやっていたのでてくてく歩いて見に行く。相変わらずの大人数で圧倒的に楽しいライブでした。こちらも何度も観てるけど、どんどん見せ方がうまくなって来てるなーと思う。この日はリズム隊が増強（？）されててその辺も良かった。

パノラマが終わってすぐUNITに戻るとちょうどクラムボンが始まったところ。いつ観ても瑞々しいというか若々しい感じがする。その辺が人気の理由なんだろうけど。そして最後にBOREDOMSやROVO、羅針盤、想い出波止場といった数多くのバンドやユニットで活躍するギタリスト山本精一さんのPARAを観る。

もうこの辺りになるとなんか一人でフェスに参加してるような気分になってくる。リキッドまで歩いたりしてるし、、こういうメンツのフェスがあっても全然おかしくない。しかし、、さすがに仕事とはいえこんなイカれたライブばっかり見続けると、濃すぎて頭がぐにゃぐにゃして来ます。。

↓このチラシは10年以上前に僕が見に行った川崎市民ミュージアムでのイベント。僕のメルツバウ初体験。ネットで探すとこんなマニアックなフライヤーまで出てくるということに今更ながら驚き。この時は客席のひとつひとつに取り付けられた端子が椅子を叩いて小さな音を出し、観客が座ってる全部の椅子が演奏する、というアヒム・ヴォルシャイトの作品がすごかったのを憶えてます。おーすげーなんて言ってる僕は23歳でした。
